Our San Antonio Granite & Tile Process
While perhaps you are considering getting a custom natural stone countertop for your home. A2Z Granite has experienced that providing the process knowledge to our customers is a great way to begin the countertop project. Here is what you should expect in our tile and granite countertops process.
Estimating
By calling us for a FREE quote, we begin by coming out to your home and measuring the square footage of your countertops. By providing an estimate for our customers, this helps them to financially plan for this project or in synch with other projects. It is common for customers to add or make changes to the job that may later alter the estimate.
Acceptance
Once a customer accepts our estimate, we can begin the project! Customer is required to place a 50% down payment towards the final price of the project. The 50% down payment will cover the cost of the material, part of the fabrication, and travel expenses. The remaining balance will be due upon the completion of the install.
Templating
Before we start the fabrication, we come out to your home and template any surfaces that require a template. We'll schedule a time to meet at your home and the templating process usually lasts under 30 minutes.
Slab Selection
A2Z Granite & Tile offers our customers a wide selection of countertop materials to choose from. We carry a selection of colors, and provide a larger selection of colors via our suppliers. (AG&M, Triton Stone Group, etc.)
Fabrication
At this stage of the project, we would begin to cut the raw material down to the countertop dimensions, the edging process, and any sink cut outs for the project. This stage is most of the work in creating the countertops that are to be installed.
Installation
A2Z will coordinate with the customer for a specific date to install the countertops. Most countertop jobs are finished installing in 1 day. After completion of the installation, the remaining balance of 50% is due upon completion.

If ever you have a question about how to maintain, clean, or treat your countertops, please contact our offices and we will be happy to assist you. We have been in business for over 10 years and still continue to provide support for past customers.
